St Peter’s Conkered

St Peter’s Conkered

This week we’re trying St Peter’s Conquered as recommended by the local brewer. Brewed eight miles from The Low House, in South Elmham near Bungay, Conquered (4.2%) is described as ‘A chestnut coloured ale which is rich and malty in flavour and has a sweet caramel aftertaste’. It’s a palatable bitter to drink as the temperatures begin to drop as autumn approaches.
